Every Podcast App to Submit Your RSS Feed To

One, easy list of all the podcast listening platforms to submit your show to. Just bring your RSS feed and get distributed! Updated annually.

If you’re managing your ministry’s podcast feed and you’ve published your first episode, the next step is to submit your RSS feed to all the podcast apps. The good news is you only have to do this once and your feed will forever live on the listening platform! Unless you change your RSS feed name so don’t do that.

I made this list as a one-stop checklist for submitting your show. Take some time to submit your feed to every one on the list. You’ll find a lot of listeners congregate on certain apps but there are always a few people who love their app. It doesn’t hurt to be everywhere and ensure people on any type of device can listen where they enjoy it most.

The Podcast Submission Checklist

I’ve ranked them in order of importance based on past data and a little bit of my own personal preference. An asterisk* notes any submission that requires creating a free account, if you don’t already have an account from their main service (i.e. Apple, Amazon, Spotify).

  1. Apple Podcasts Connect* – https://podcastsconnect.apple.com/login
  2. Spotify for Podcasters* – https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/login
  3. Amazon Music / Audible* – https://podcasters.amazon.com/
  4. Google Podcasts* – https://podcastsmanager.google.com/
  5. PocketCasts – https://pocketcasts.com/submit/
  6. Podcast Index – https://podcastindex.org/add
  7. Pandora / SXM* – https://www.simplecast.com/pandora
  8. Podchaser – https://www.podchaser.com/add
  9. RadioPublic* – https://podcasters.radiopublic.com/signup
  10. PlayerFM* – https://player.fm/importer/feed
  11. Deezer – https://podcasters.deezer.com/
  12. TuneIn – https://help.tunein.com/contact/add-podcast-S19TR3Sdf
  13. JioSaavn* (Bollywood) – https://yourcast.jiosaavn.com/register
  14. Boomplay* (Africa) – I believe you can email them podcast@boomplay.com cause I’m not finding a podcast submission portal.
  15. Gaana* (India) – https://podcasts.gaana.com/login

Wondering where Overcast, Goodpods, Castos, Podcast Addict, etc are? These platforms are aggregators, meaning they pull your feed from other directories. As long as you submit to Apple, you’ll end up on these ones as well!

Hosting Services Can Make Submission Easy

One added benefit of a hosting service is a one-click submission. Captivate.fm (the hosting service I use) has a distribution page with all their integrated partners. As of writing this, Captivate allows you to one-click submit to eight platforms such as Spotify and Amazon! For Apple and Google, they have links to the submission logins. I’m sure other hosting platforms have similar features so be sure to check.

Note: you can one-click submit and claim your podcast on the specific platform. Like with Spotify! If you do create an account for them, you can platform specific analytics and stats like what music your listeners are listening to.

I write these education topics for my fortnightly newsletter, podCasting Seeds, and I post them here two weeks after. Want it sooner with podcast recs, industry news, episode ideas AND a private podcast feed? Sign up for the dang thing then!
